i feel like im back in highshool, gradeschool, in la salle.
forgive my poem writing moods.

Fasteners

when it clips on the folder,
it fastens tightly,
organizing the papers,
orderly, fashionably.
the fasteners.

a child clings to these
cling tightly, that child must
to that
thin metal peice,
a cut?
well yeah.
probably.
blood, bleeding.

take that fastener away.
induce a deeper cut
on the already blood-stricken palms.
grab it.
it is your oppurtune.
break his heart.
steal the one thing that
tightly clasps the child's
important papers for school.
steal the child's pride, his safety
his shelter.
make him, uncomfortable,
unsure.

all beacuse of a fastener?
maybe so?
but its too fatfetched.
probability of that event.
almost zero.
almost.

but then again,
fasteners may not
tigthly fasten the papers
as they claim to do.
that even though
school papers are tightly
fastened,
simply pull them,
they tear right off.
easily.
